    Features
    #1 BEST SELLING:
Sandbaggy landscape staples can be found securing landscape fabric & irrigation piping on job sites, national parks, and airports across America. That’s why we are the #1 best selling brand of landscape staples on the Internet, with over 25 million Sandbaggy landscape staples installed across this great country.
    WIDELY TRUSTED
by many landscapers/contractors, nonprofits, and government agencies including the National Park Service and Forest Service to safeguard our national parks and forests on public lands.
    6-INCH 11 GAUGE STEEL:
The points on the staples are sharp enough to pierce commercial ground cloth, and the staples are long enough to anchor weed barrier to the ground. The 11-gauge steel reduces the likelihood of bending during installation.
    CUSTOMERS LOVE THEM:
“Can't landscape without them” - Lawrence S. “Thick heavy-duty staples stand up to the toughest jobs” - Michael S. “These are the best landscape staples I've found anywhere” - Granuaile.  We're lucky to be able to help customers every day secure landscape fabric to control weeds, bird netting to protect a budding crop from being ruined by birds, drip irrigation to keep plants watered, and chicken wire to protect seedlings from small animals.
    SUB-PACKED FOR EASY INSTALLATION:
Pack of 100 landscape staples - neatly sub-packed in two plastic bags (100 staples/bag) - retail packaging not included as part of strategy to reduce packaging waste
Use these anchor pins with erosion net and most other landscape fabrics. Size 6" x 1" x 6". Bag of 100 pins.
If you're curious, here's the difference between round top and square top sod staples:
    For some of us who
    aren't
sure what a square top sod staple means, it is the type of staple with a flat top. Meanwhile, round top sod staples are rounded at the top.
So the difference is the uses of each of these sod staples. Our square top sod staples are typically used for securing dog fences & electric fences, controlling weed, securing synthetic turf, holding sod and keeping landscape fabrics in place (e.g. ground cover).
Meanwhile, our round top sod staples are typically used to hold down irrigation pipes.
Here's a little article we wrote about how to figure out what Gauge & Size of Sod Staples (Anchor Pins) should one buy?
To start out, we will discuss the differences between gauges in sod staples. On the Internet, you’ll find staples that are 8 to 15 gauge. The lower the gauge, the thicker and stronger the metal. Currently, we sell 8 gauge, 9 gauge, and 11 gauge sod staples. Our 8 gauge sod staples are primarily used for compacted soil, while our 11 gauge sod staples are used for looser soil. If your soil is compact, it may be a good idea to purchase lower gauge sod staples so that the staples does not snap while you are hammering it into the ground. For most applications, our
    11 gauge sod staples
    will work.
Regarding the size of the sod staple, the most common size is
    6" x 1" x 6"
. If your soil is not too compact and not too loose, this size will suit your needs. But if your soil is loose, it may be a good idea to purchase sod staples that are either
    9" x 1" x 9"
    or
    12" x 1" x 12"
, which will ensure that the sod staple does not move after installed into the ground.
