VINTAGE ROLLER-SMITH CO DC AMMETER IN WOODEN CASE 1940'S ANTIQUE ORIGINAL
This eBay listing is for a used a vintage Roller-Smith Company DC Ammeter in wooden case that comes as you see pictured in the listing and noted above. This was made in Bethlehem, PA and was last calibrated and certified in 1942. The dial ranges is 0 - 300 / 50MV and is a type NPD. Due to my lack of knowledge and experience with old meters like this, I'm unable to test the unit out so it's being sold as a collectible only. The overall size of the wooden case, when all closed up, is 8" across, 8" tall (not counting the leather handle on top) and 5.5" deep with a weight of just under 12 pounds!! In my option, its in excellent condition for its age!!
